2019 SsangYong Musso

The 2019 SsangYong Musso range will be offered with drive-away pricing.

Confirmed today by SsangYong Australia, the Musso will be back in dealerships in November, along with SUV offerings – Tivoli and Rexton.

The 2019 SsangYong Musso pick up will be priced from $30,490 drive-away.

To be offered only in dual-cab ute form, the new-generation SsangYong Musso will be available in three specification levels – EX, ELX and Ultimate.

A manual transmission (six-speed) features only in the entry-level offering.

Drive-away pricing for the other auto transmission (also six-speed) equipped variants starts at $32,490, the mid-spec offering is $35,990 and the flagship Musso is $39,990.

Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and forward collision warning (FCW) has been confirmed as being a standard fitment across all models.

Bluetooth, a limited slip differential and full-size spare wheel also features across the range.

ELX adds 18″ alloy wheels, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert and lane change assist.

While the Ultimate adds heated and vented leather seats, sunroof, 20″ alloys and 360-degree camera.

Power comes exclusively across the range from a 2.2 litre turbo-diesel delivering 133kW and 400Nm.

At this stage, SsangYong’s Musso will boast a 3.0 tonne towing capacity, however SsangYong say they are working with suppliers to homologate for a 3.5 tonne rating (we will keep you updated on that).

SsangYong Australia Managing Director Tim Smith telling uteandvanguide.com.au that the Musso will look to provide Aussie ute buyers with a great value option.

“With a high degree of safety features, great warranty and outstanding pricing we look forward to offering Australian customers a new choice in motoring when we go on sale in November.”
