Dual faults see Fiat Scudo recalled

Australian owners of the Fiat Scudo van are being asked to return their vehicle to a Fiat Professional dealership to have two possibly dangerous faults attended to.

Affecting 2013 models of the Fiat Scudo, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has combined the two faults into a single recall of the Fiat van.

The ACCC recall notice says the vehicle is affected by non-conforming front brake discs and, in addition, the windscreen wiper motor may fail.

These defects may result in an accident occurring and causing potential injury to occupants orĀ other road users.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Australia will notify Fiat Scudo owners direct. Upon inspection of the vehicle by the authorised dealer, it will be determined whether replacement parts will be required.

If you own a Fiat Scudo and are not contacted but you think your vehicle is affected, FCA asks that you please contact them on 1300 133 079.
