There’s no doubt Aussies are going nuts over high-spec utes and Ford looks set to cash in with the Ford Ranger Raptor.

The new flagship variant of the big-selling Ford Ranger line-up will be in Australian Ford dealerships in September.

Prices have been confirmed as kicking off from just under $75,000.

Ranger Raptor joins Mustang as Ford’s halo offerings.

While plenty of tradies will no doubt find the cash to grab a Ranger Raptor, the new offering is undoubtedly more performance-focused than workhorse.

Some of the key selling points include:

While standard features will include:

“Ranger Raptor will help conquest new customers looking for a Ranger with immense off-road capability like no other.” – Trevor Worthington, Vice President, Product Development, Ford Asia Pacific.

“Ranger Raptor showcases the best of Ford Performance’s expertise in performance vehicle design and engineering.”

The only thing missing? Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB).

Ford telling us the auto braking system is coming to the Ranger, including Raptor, however there’s no firm ETA on the tech’s Australian arrival (we’ll keep you updated).
