The newest player in the lucrative dual-cab ute market has arrived with the Great Wall Steed landing in Australia and priced from $24,990.
The Chinese-built ute is being offered locally in three configurations – Petrol 4×2, Diesel 4×2 (from $26,990 drive-away) and Diesel 4×4 (from $29,990 drive-away).
Both engines are Euro Five compliant with the 2.4 litre petrol unit bringing 100kW/205Nm, the 2.0 litre turbo-diesel offering 110kW/310Nm.
The Great Wall Steed, in any configuration, offers a payload of 1010kg and a braked towing capacity of 2000kg.
