Holden Colorado seatbelt bolt recall

Seatbelt anchor bolts not fitted to some Holden Colorado utes.

Holden Colorado seatbelt bolt recall – fasteners for the rear seatbelt brackets may not have been fitted to extended cab versions of the Holden Colorado.

It’s been found that some Holden Colorado utes could be getting about without important seatbelt anchor bolts.

The Australian Competition and Consumer is now overseeing the recall of Extended Cab versions of the Holden Colorado fitted with second row jump seats.

The affected vehicles were built between the 15th of September 2011 and the 16th of June 2015.

The ACCC Holden Colorado recall notice says that a bolt that is one of two fasteners securing the anchor bracket for the rear seatbelt buckles may not have been fitted during vehicle production.

The absence of the seat belt anchor bracket bolt may result in reduced performance of the rear seatbelts in the event of a collision. This may present an increased injury risk to rear seat occupants.

Holden will write to all affected customers to notify them of required action. Check out more details on this Holden Colorado recall and your vehicles VIN on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website.
