Mazda BT-50 Single Cab and Freestyle Cab Utes Pricing and Specifications

Mazda Australia has announced Single Cab and Freestyle Cab body styles for the Brand-New Mazda BT-50 Utility. Priced from $36,550 plus on-road costs, the five-star ANCAP safety rated Mazda BT-50 Single Cab and Freestyle Cab variants join the existing Dual Cab models from November 1st, 2020.

Additionally, these models are included along with the existing Dual Cab models as part of Mazda’s ‘back-to-business’ small fleet pricing offer for eligible ABN holders, as detailed in the supporting release.

“Mazda Australia’s philosophy has long been about choice,” said Mazda Australia Managing Director, Vinesh Bhindi.

“For Brand-New Mazda BT-50, the new Single Cab and Freestyle Cab models complement the impressive Dual Cab model range that we released in September. With a similarly wide array of Mazda Genuine Accessories available, the BT-50 range can genuinely be tailored to suit the customer’s lifestyle,” he said.

One for all: Mazda BT-50 XT Single Cab and Freestyle Cab Chassis available in 4×2 or 4×4, with standard auto on 4×2 and choice of manual or automatic on 4×4

The highly-specified XT model grade offers a strong singular trim level for both Single Cab and Freestyle Cab body styles. All models are delivered as Cab Chassis, providing a perfect canvas from which to customise the vehicle for work via a wide range of Mazda Genuine Accessories dealer-fit trays.

The Mazda BT-50 XT 4×2 Single and Freestyle models feature a six-speed automatic transmission as standard, while opting for the 4×4 drivetrain brings the choice of six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions as well as greater all-terrain ability.

All BT-50 Single and Freestyle Cab models feature a five-star ANCAP safety rating.

Drivetrain: Efficient, responsive and 20 per cent more efficient than before

Powering the Brand-New Mazda BT-50 Single and Freestyle Cab ranges is the same turbocharged 3.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine from the BT-50 Dual Cab. This generates 140kW peak power along with 450Nm torque, the latter provided from 1,600 to 2,600rpm for exceptional pulling power.

A thorough vehicle weight saving program has reduced weight by around 50kg (model dependent) over the predecessor model and this, combined with the responsive new engine, has led to impressive fuel efficiency gains of around 20 per cent compared to the predecessor model.

Fuel consumption for all models is 8.0L/100km on the combined cycle.
