New Fiat Ducato lands in Australia

Re-designed Fiat Ducato LCV now in Fiat Professional dealerships.

Fiat says the focus with the new Ducato has been on three key areas: robustness and reliability, efficiency and low running costs, and new high-tech features.

Fiat Australia has invited those in the light commercial market to pop into a dealership and test drive the new and improved Ducato.

Building on a long history and 2.6 million global sales, the new-generation Fiat Ducato features updated looks, a stronger body, improved brakes, more comfortable interior and a more efficient engine too.

The new exterior styling includes new Daytime Running Lights with optional LEDs, while on the inside the new Fiat Ducato offers improved comfort levels and added technology, including a five-inch colour touchscreen infotainment unit.

Fiat says the heavy duty 3.0 litre diesel engine has also been tweaked and now produces 130kW and 400Nm, fuel consumption is as low as 7.2L/100kms.That lower fuel consumption is also in-part due to weight savings, particularly from the use of lighter rear suspension components.

The new Fiat Ducato features a three-seat cabin configuration as standard, with middle seat also transforming into a work table.

The new Fiat Ducato range starts from $38,000.
