Renault launch next generation Trafic

Popular new Renault LCV gets more creature comforts.

Ready for work – new Renault Trafic.

It’s the best-selling light commercial vehicle in Europe and a very common sight on Australian roads, now the Renault Trafic has been given a significant refresh.

Launched today in France, the new model features refreshed external styling, improved fuel economy, more features for the driver and passengers and more load carrying capacity too.

The overall length of the new Renault Trafic is 210mm longer than the model it replaces; this boosts carrying capacity by 200 litres in the H1 version of the Trafic or 300 litres in the H2.

Inside the cabin Renault say the new Trafic has been designed to serve as an office on wheels, with the cabin featuring a raft of bespoke equipment, including mobile phone and tablet cradle mounts, space for a laptop computer, and a removable A4-size clipboard.

And under the bonnet Renault is offering a range of four new engines that will help owners use on average a litre of fuel per one hundred kilometres less than the old-model Trafic.

The cabin in the Trafic now features up to 14 storage places.

Australian pricing and specifications for the new Renault Trafic are yet to be confirmed.
