The Light Commercial Sales Data for January 2017 shows Toyota was again the dominant player in the Australian market.
In total, Toyota controlled 26.9% of the van and ute market in the month as VFACTS data shows sales overall receded by 3.9%.
13,942 LCV customer deliveries occurred in January.
Once again it was Ford that was the runner-up to Toyota, the blue-oval brand gaining a respectable 19.5% market share with a 4.8% increase in sales.
Ford also gaining bragging rights over Toyota with the Ranger gaining more sales than HiLux in the keenly-contested 4×4 ute sales market.
