We’ve been covering the developments of the Workhorse Group in recent times as the electric delivery vehicle gains traction in the U.S.

Now comes a new last-mile delivery vehicle that looks set to make some big inroads in the industry.

Known as the N-Gen electric van, the new vehicle is now undergoing testing with a view to being available to operators, particularly those delivering parcels to homes, in the not too distant future.

But we haven’t yet mentioned the vans biggest party truck yet – it also incorporates its own delivery drone.

Known as the HorseFly Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Package Delivery System, the carbon-fibre octocopter drone launches from the roof of the van and delivers packages weighing up to 4.5kg, to destinations within the driver’s line of sight.
