The 2016 Van Fleet World honors have been announced at a special ceremony in London overnight.
The good news for Australian light commercial vehicle purchasers is that LCVs available in Australia dominated the main awards again this year.
The respected annual awards are judged by the Van Fleet World editorial team with data provided by a number of leading leasing companies and fleet advisors also taken into account.
The awards are then presented to manufacturers who have achieved the highest possible level of excellence.

Commenting on the double victories for the new Volkswagen Transporter, Dan Gilkes, Van Fleet World editor said the new T-model beat home a very strong field of competitors.
“All of the players in this market have produced incredibly strong mid-weight contenders. This is perhaps the hardest class to decide, until you get behind the wheel and drive.
The T6 Transporter had this award sewn up from the moment we first turned the key in the ignition. Of all the vans that we tried last year, Volkswagen’s Transporter was the one that delivered a winning drive.”
