The team at Shogun Conversions have another happy customer with Tony Irving and his wife, Gaye, delighted with their Dodge RAM.
The RAM 2500 diesel was sourced, converted to RHD and imported into Australia by Shogun for the Irving’s to tow their 29ft dual-axle fifth wheeler.
Now, after two years travelling up and down Australian highways, Tony says they made the right choice in choosing the Dodge truck.
“The RAM and 5th wheeler create a lot of interest wherever we go, both on the road and in the caravan parks.
“Many of the ‘grey nomad baby boomers’ who drive Toyota LandCruisers are somewhat surprised at our diesel consumption which is significantly better than what they are achieving.”
The RAM, which has a 7.5 tonne towing capacity, is achieving around 20.0L/100km at an average speed of 95 to 100km/h with the fifth wheeler attached.
