
The very first Mercedes-Benz ute/pick-up offering, the X-Class, will arrive with a maximum five-star safety rating.
Euro NCAP has just confirmed the new model, which will land in Australia in April 2018, had achieved the top safety score.

The testing authority tell us the X-Class recorded a strong 90% Adult Occupant Protection score, and 87% Child Occupant Protection score.
While Pedestrian Protection was 80% and a 77% grading was bestowed on the ute for Safety Assist tech.

Mercedes-Benz welcomed the top safety score.
The X-Class owes this result above all to its especially sturdy body with high-strength passenger cell and a structure with front and rear ends capable of absorbing energy through selective deformation, as well as with an exceptionally large number of safety systems for the mid-size pickup segment.
