Mercedes-Benz X-Class completes promotional tour…
A sign that Mercedes-Benz sees the Australian market as a big priority for its new X-Class ute with a pre-production/concept version landing in Australia this week.
The Concept X-Class is here for a promotional tour and that’s ahead of the German brands first pick-up/ute offerings expected arrival in Australian dealerships next year.
Confirming that keenly-anticipated new Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles offering was here, sort of, Mercedes-Benz Australia told us the X-Class was flown in from Germany for activities such as photo shoots in “typical Australian settings”.
While Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Vans Australia and New Zealand, Diane Tarr, says the vehicle was also on display at the organisations National Dealer Conference in Melbourne.
“These are critical markets for the success of the X-Class.
“The Concept has been flown from Germany so our dealers can get a detailed briefing about the vehicle and continue their preparation for a successful launch of the X-Class in 2018.”
