If you need a vehicle to tow a hefty load then the experts from two separate publications this week recommended the RAM 2500 as the vehicle you want to invest in.
The U.S. sourced pick-up has been named by the popular New Zealand publication, ‘Stuff’, as it’s Tow-Car of the Year.
The recognition coincides with the Australian publication, Caravan World, also giving the RAM its Top Tow-Car gong.
Powered by a 1084Nm 6.7 litre turbo-diesel engine, Caravan World said the RAM completes its towing tasks with effortless ease.
“It towed a 2900kg caravan like it wasn’t even there, the RAM is a brilliant tow vehicle.”
While the NZ publication commended the RAM 2500 for being a tough truck that “can serve as both day-to-day transport and serious heavy-duty tow machine.”
The RAM 2500 range is priced from $139,500 drive-away in Australia and more details are available from the RAM Trucks Australia website.
