2014 models of the Fiat Ducato sold in Australia are being recalled to fix an issue that could pose a fire hazard.
Affecting Fiat Ducato vehicles with the 2.3 litre MultiJet engine, the Fiat Ducato recall is being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
The ACCC recall notice advises that there is a potential that the end connector of the diesel re-circulation pipe on the injectors may be cracked resulting in diesel seepage.
If diesel leaks from the vehicle this poses a potential fire hazard.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Australia will notify affected Fiat Ducato owners direct with information regarding the free inspection and repairs at Fiat Professional dealerships.
Alternatively, more information is available from FCA Australia on the customer service line – 1300 133 079.
