
Ford has continued to lead the pack in the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) market across Europe.

Sales data for the first half of 2016 shows Ford managed to take 13% of total LCV sales across Europe in the six-month period.
Ford managed to increase LCV sales in Europe across the first half of 2016 by an impressive 17%.
In total, Ford delivered a total of 162,500 vehicles in the 22 European nations and that equated to that healthy market share of 13%, up 0.6% on the same period on 2015.
Leading the increased demand was the Ford Transit and the Ford Ranger.
Sales of the Ranger pickup/ute increased by 39% in the first half to record its best start to a year since it was launched in 1998.
While Transit sales rose 20% year-over-year and retained its position as the No.1 selling nameplate in the combined 1-tonne and 2-tonne CV segment.
The results were described by Ford of Europe as their best LCV result in Europe since 1993.
