LDV Vans identification label recall – LDV Van owners are asked to return their vehicles to have a sticker changed!

A recall of LDV Vans sold in Australia is underway to fix an issue relating to an identification label.

In all, 265 LDV Vans are caught up in the recall after it was found that the label, printed by a third party Australian supplier, has been printed incorrectly and contains wrong information.

Despite the somewhat trivial nature of the LDV Vans recall it is being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

The ACCC recall notice confirming that the label omits the required inclusion of the vehicle manufacturer’s name. This makes the warning label non-compliant with the mandatory Administrator’s Circular for Identification Labels.

Imported into Australia by Ateco Automotive Pty Ltd, affected owners are being asked to take their vehicles to their authorised LDV dealer to have the correct label fitted.
