A couple of new model variants and a new entry-level grade headlines the 2015 Volkswagen Amarok changes.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles today confirmed some interesting changes for the Volkswagen Amarok line-up for this year.

The 2015 model of the popular VW utility will now be offered in two new model variants – TDI420 Dual Cab 4×2 automatic and TDI420 Single Cab 4MOTION automatic, and the entry-level versions of the Amarok will now be known as ‘Core Edition’.

The Core Edition joins the existing Amarok Trendline, Highline and Ultimate grades and comes standard with body-coloured bumpers, 16-inch ‘Korama’ alloy wheels and Pirelli Scorpion ATR tyres as standard.

The Amarok Trendline now includes front and rear Park Distance Control and 17-inch alloy wheels as standard. Amarok Highline adds a rear view camera, auto headlights and wipers, lumbar support for driver and passenger seats and optional Bi-Xenon headlights.

While the Amarok Ultimate gets leather interior trim and 19-inch alloy wheels as additional standard features. Amarok Ultimate models also receive Bi-Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights.
