The Volkswagen Amarok has been named Delivery Magazine ‘Best Ute of 2014’.
Delivery Magazine, which caters for the commercial vehicle market, declared the Volkswagen Amarok the best utility of the year based primarily on its eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Amarok is the first ute in Australia with an eight-speed auto and the magazine was impressed by the agility the transmission provides, enabling a particularly low first gear ratio that gives the VW an advantage while towing and off-road.
The Volkswagen Amarok range fitted with the eight-speed transmission is priced from $44,490.
