
Volkswagen Transporter. Volkswagen has an all new Transporter Van that will arrive for 2025, in Short Wheelbase and Long Wheelbase 3/2 seater configurations.
Motivation will come in the form of diesel, as well as battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants – both arriving Q3 2025 – with a Plug In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) following in Q2 2026.
All will score the state-of-the-art Driver Assistance Systems and fully Digital Cockpit now expected of a new Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles product.
Drivers can also count on the peace of mind that comes with a large loading space, including with high roof options, and over one-tonne of payload.
Speaking on the new Transporter, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Product Manager Nadia Bucholtz, emphasised how Transporter will cement its role as the definitive fit-for-purpose van across a diverse range of applications.
“Short and long wheelbases, standard roof height and high roof variants, front wheel drive and 4MOTION, Transporter has remained committed to supplying the most fit-for-purpose vehicles to our customers, including the most extensive range of applications,” Ms Bucholtz said.
“The addition of BEV and PHEV variants to the range serves to further expand that product offering, particularly as our customers look to ways to minimise their emissions, maximise drive comfort and reduce running costs.”
