Australia’s Volkswagen dealerships are about to take delivery of the new fourth-generation Volkswagen Caddy and the Caddy people mover, both are powered by the same 92kW/220Nm TSI petrol engine. Next year the Caddy range will welcome new VW diesel engines.
Transmission choices are either six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG auto.
The 2016 Volkswagen Caddy features a range of new driver assistance technologies.
Some of those systems available include City Emergency Braking, cruise control with speed limiter and a Fatigue Detection system.
While other new additions to the updated Volkswagen Caddy line-up include new infotainment systems with sat-nav and a reverse camera, which comes standard in the Caddy people mover and can be ordered for the Caddy van.
Volkswagen Australia telling Behind the Wheel Car News that while preserving all of its functional virtues, the high-quality urban delivery van and people mover have gained noticeably in presence and dynamism for 2016.
Prices start from $28,990 for the Caddy van and $32,490 for the Caddy people mover in Trendline trim.
