All-new LDV single/dual-cab ute coming to Australia…

As we confirmed back in November, LDV will bring the T60 ute to Australia and now we know the new offering will land in October.

In confirming that today, LDV also confirmed a few more details on the new offering, at this stage though there is no word on final Australian pricing.

2018 LDV T60 Key Data:

• Powered by 110kW 2.8 litre turbo-diesel engine
• Manual and auto transmissions to be available
• Two and four-wheel drive
• Single and double cab
• Two trim/equipment versions

Dinesh Chinnappa, General Manager of LDV Australia, says the LDV T60 will help put the brand on the agenda of many more buyers.

“Since its launch in Australia LDV has focused on its van and people mover ranges with the V80 and then with the G10 van,”

“Sales of this type of vehicle are primarily in metro areas, so that is where we have concentrated our dealers and our business.

“But the T60 will have a much broader appeal across the whole country.

“The Ute market is much bigger than the van market and it is booming. In preparation for the arrival of the T60 we are opening new dealers in country areas and enlarging our urban representation.

“There is little doubt that from day one, the T60 will be LDV’s best-selling model in Australia.”
