The Ford Ranger is proving one of the most vehicles of 2016 across Europe.
Sales data for July 2016 has just been released by Ford in Europe and shows that the Ranger pick-up achieved a phenomenal 45% increase in sales in July.
The 3200 Ford Ranger deliveries in July were up from 1000 in the same month in 2015 and the total was the largest number of Ranger utes ever sold in the month in Europe.
Year to date, Ford Ranger sales in Europe are up from 5,800 in the first seven months of 2015, to 20,600 this year!
The strong performance of the model in Europe echoes a strong increase in demand in Australia in July.
Locally, Ford dealerships delivered 517 4×2 Rangers, a 30.2% increase on July 2015, while 4×4 Ranger sales jumped 45.9% to 2,357.
Aside from the Ranger, Ford managed another extremely strong performance in the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) market in July.
The brand sold 24,339 vehicles in total, 21% more than the same month in 2015. While year to date, Ford LCV sales in Europe have increased 12.9%.
