The Ford success story in the UK has continued in April 2016 with the brand again holding off rivals to top passenger car and commercial vehicle sales.
Ford’s UK light commercial vehicle sales in April were up 11.8% on the same month last year with 27,880 deliveries.
Ford light and medium commercials sales were up an even more impressive 14.3%.
The Ford Transit Custom (9th) and the Ford Transit (19th) vans both managed to finish in the top 20 overall for the month.
While the Transit Custom, Transit and the Ford Ranger ute lead their respective market segments.
Ford of Britain chairman and managing director Andy Barratt tells us the full availability of its extended CV family has helped deliver the significant increases in sales and share.
