The Iveco Daily range looks well-placed to start 2018 in style with the van and cab chassis offering benefiting from a range of updates for 2018.

As you can see in the photos, Iveco has reworked the front styling of the Daily and, on the inside, a new two-tone colour scheme and an additional space, with easy to access USB inputs, now features.

Back the biggest change to the Iveco Daily in the 2018 upgrade is a significant improvement in in-cabin sound levels.

The Iveco engineers have managed to further reduce cabin noise by an additional 4db and this is by way of additional insulation, redesigned B Pillar swabs, and a reshape of the side mirrors.

Some of the other changes include a new Gear Shift Indicator in manual versions of the 35S Daily.

That model can now also be optioned with a start and stop system to help operators save fuel.

While all models can add a new Daily ‘Efficiency’ Pack that adds features such as Lane Departure Warning (LDW), the system can also be optioned separately.

And there’s also a new ‘run lock’ option available that will allow you to keep the engine running while you’re away from the van – this is expected to be a bonus for operators such as emergency services and refrigerated transport.

Drivelines for the latest Daily range have remained unchanged with three Euro5 engine options plus the Euro6-rated powerplant used exclusively in the Daily 4×4 and 70C 4×2 van.

However, Iveco has improved the cooling system for the auto transmissions available in the range.

These changes, including revised air to oil cooler design, are said to better help the Daily handle our tough local conditions.

Product Manager at Iveco Australia/New Zealand, Marco Quaranta, says the 2018 Iveco Daily range has an even better story to tell.

“The previous Daily range introduced many market-leading features and benefits to the van and light truck market, with these improvements we’ve further honed the product offering to even better suit Australian customer requirements.”
