Owners of Kawasaki KVF300C 300cc All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) are being asked to return their vehicles to a dealership to have two possible fuel system faults rectified.
The first recall involves KVF300C ATVs from MY12 to MY17, all those vehicles were sold between the 31st of October 2011 and the 29th of August 2017.

The recall notice advising that under certain conditions fuel can leak from the fuel tap when it is turned to operate the valve.
While the second recall involves KVF300C ATVs from MY15 to MY 17, all those vehicles were sold between the 14th of October 2014 and the 29th of August 2017.
The recall notice advising that on affected vehicles, fuel can leak from the carburettor overflow pipe and drain on to the ground.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) advising that with both these issues there is the potential to be a fire hazard.
What should Kawasaki ATV owners do?
Affected owners will be contacted by direct mail and are being asked to contact their nearest authorised Kawasaki ATV dealer to arrange for the repair of the vehicle.
