But they stopped short of actually saying that it was a look at the inside of the new Sprinter, instead the photo and a press release said the Sprinter was leaping from being a vehicle “to an integrated system solution”.

We reckon though that it is our first look at the inside of the new van.

Set to be officially unveiled in February, the accompanying press release provides info on what Mercedes-Benz calls the “Sprinter Innovation Campus” in Stuttgart.

The German manufacturer saying the new third-gen Sprinter is set to welcome full internet connectivity, unique scalability, silent electric drives, and individual hardware solutions for the load compartment.

While “its combination with sharing and rental services make the Sprinter the first integrated system solution”.

Volker Mornhinweg, head of Mercedes-Benz-Vans, says the new Sprinter will be a leap ahead.

“Comprehensive industry-specific know-how, a vehicle that is precisely adaptable to different transport requirements and innovative networking services add up to an all-embracing fully integral product offering.

“The Sprinter is the first embodiment of this new class of vehicle from Mercedes-Benz Vans and addresses the need for smart hardware.”
