V8 RAM pick-up ready to show
It will be at the upcoming 2017 National 4×4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo where RAM Trucks Australia debuts the 2018 RAM 1500 Rebel.
Confirmed as the third model in the local RAM range, the RAM 1500 Rebel diverts from the existing 2500/3500 offerings by being powered by a 291kW 5.7 litre HEMI V8 engine.
It also features tweaked styling and different interior trim, and is set to be priced below the other established RAM Trucks offerings.
Alex Stewart, General Manager of RAM in Australia, says the 1500 Rebel has been a sales hit in the U.S. and that should also be the case here.
“The RAM 1500 Rebel takes the legendary RAM Truck in a totally different direction from the 2500/3500, something that is self-evident from the totally different grille and distinctive rumble from its massive V8 engine.
“Anyone who thought the era of driving a thundering V8 powered Ute in Australia was over had better head to Melbourne see the RAM 1500 Rebel.”
The 2017 National 4×4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo will be held at the Melbourne Show Grounds in Ascot Vale from the 18th to the 20th of August 2017.
