The RAM Laramie 2500 has been named the best new vehicle on the Australian market to tow a caravan by the respected publication – Caravan World.
The U.S. sourced RAM truck, imported and converted to right-hand drive by American Special Vehicles, beat home the Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series, Land Rover Discovery 4 SDV6 and Jeep Grand Cherokee turbo-diesel V6 to take the award.
Powered by a 276kW 6.7 litre Cummins turbo-diesel engine, Caravan World said the RAM makes towing a caravan easy.
“Hills didn’t slow the RAM and with its exhaust brakes, going downhill at a set speed without needing the brakes was easy,”
“If you wanted the ultimate tow vehicle, this is it.”
