RAM Trucks turn signal recall

RAM Pick-Ups could have signal fault

The consumer watchdog has issued a recall notice on American-sourced RAM Trucks due to a possible turn signal defect.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is informing owners the turn signal speed doesn’t change when the globe is no longer working.

They say drivers would be unaware that the light globe is out of operation if the turn signal speed doesn’t change.

This could increase the risk of an accident.

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by distributor, America Special Vehicles, who will organise for an inspection and repair.

Australian owners of RAM Trucks can contact American Special Vehicles via their website, or free call – 1800 649 607.
