Toyota HiLux remains Australia’s favourite ute in October 2016

Strong 4x2 sales help HiLux hold off Ford Ranger for another month…

The honors were split pretty evenly between the Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger in the October 2016 Ute sales race.

Ford sold more 4×4 dual-cab utes than their Toyota rivals, however the HiLux was significantly more popular among 4×2 buyers and this helped keep Toyota on top overall.

A 32.1% increase in demand for the Ford Ranger in the 4×4 category coming at the expense of almost every other ute offering in a market that also receded by 4.1% in the month.
