In Australia demand for the Nissan Navara is consistently strong, Nissan especially enjoying additional 4×2 sales of the ute in 2018.

Nissan Australia has sold more than 8,400 Navaras in Australia in the first half of 2018.

And the strong demand for Navara across the globe has prompted Nissan to up production to meet demand.

This includes the commencement of Nissan Navara production in Argentina, the South American country becoming the fifth country to manufacture the vehicle.

The model is also produced at facilities in Spain, China, Mexico, and Thailand (where our local models are built).

In South America the Navara is known as the Frontier and is available in 38 markets across the region.

The Navara’s growing popularity comes as Nissan targets a 40% increase in LCV (light commercial vehicle) sales by 2022 globally.

“With more than 15 million Nissan pick-up owners across 180 countries, trucks are a growing segment across the world and a particular strength of Nissan.” – Ashwani Gupta, senior vice president of Nissan’s LCV business.
