The Ford Transit Custom has been named Vans A2Z Van Fleet World ‘Van of the Year’ in the UK.
And, perhaps not surprisingly, the Ford offering also took a category win, beating home a strong range of medium-size vans to scoop the ‘Best Medium van’ title in the process.

Since the Ford Transit Custom landed in Australia in 2014 the van has proven a strong-seller and has picked up a number of international awards.
Picking up the latest awards in the UK was an updated version of the Ford one-tonne van that only just went on sale in the UK earlier this month.
Ford Australia, at this stage at least, aren’t saying exactly when the updated version will land on our shores – we’ll keep you updated.
The update in the UK/Europe though delivered updated styling, and a new cabin design with improved stowage, comfort and ergonomics.
Also in the mix is the latest SYNC 3 connectivity.
While 2019 will also see UK van buyers offered a plug-in hybrid variant of the Transit Custom.
